Welcome to EV-Cables. These terms outline the agreement between you (the customer) and us (KleverIdeas Limited) regarding purchases made through our website. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

⚠️ Important: The address listed is our registered office and is not able to receive product returns. Any items sent to this address will not be processed and may be returned to sender.

If you need to return a product, please contact us first and we’ll provide the correct returns address and instructions to ensure everything goes smoothly.

2. Ordering with Us

When you place an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product(s) under these Terms of Service. Your order becomes binding when we confirm dispatch. If we are unable to fulfil your order (e.g. due to stock limitations or pricing errors), we will notify you and issue a full refund.

3. Product Information

Product descriptions, images, and specifications are intended as guides. Actual products may vary slightly. All dimensions, weights, and capacities listed are approximate.

In case of any pricing or description errors, we reserve the right to cancel your order and refund any amounts paid.

4. Pricing & Payment

Prices are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment can be made using major credit/debit cards or PayPal. We do not accept cash or cheques.

If your payment is declined or fails authentication checks, we cannot complete your order. Orders made from outside the UK must pass 3-D Secure authentication.

For deliveries outside the UK, local import taxes, duties or fees may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient. We are not liable for these charges and cannot estimate their cost.

5. Delivery & Shipping

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout. For full delivery info, visit our Delivery page. Once shipped, products become your responsibility. If delivery is missed and returned to us, redelivery costs may apply.

6. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

You have 14 days from receiving your order to notify us if you wish to return an item. You then have a further 14 days to send it back (28 days total).

Returns must be:

• Unused and in a condition that allows resale

• In original packaging with all accessories

We recommend using tracked delivery. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or not as described.

Once we receive and inspect the return, we will issue a refund (minus original shipping fees) within 14 days. If returned items show signs of wear, damage or misuse, a partial refund may be offered at our discretion.

7. Warranty

All of our EV charging cables are supplied with a standard manufacturer’s warranty—2 years for plug-to-plug and portable chargers, and 1 year for accessories—covering manufacturing defects only.

Please note that this warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

The warranty does not cover:

• General wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage

• Water ingress or corrosion due to improper use or storage

• Damage to peripheral components such as plug covers or protective caps

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Our liability is limited to the value of the product(s) you purchased, unless required otherwise by law.

9. Privacy & Data Use

We process personal data in accordance with our [Privacy Policy]. We use your details to fulfil orders, provide updates, and (if opted in) marketing communications.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.

2. Ordering and Contract Formation

2.1 By placing an order, you are offering to purchase products under these Terms of Service.

2.2 A contract is formed only when you receive an email from us confirming that your order has been dispatched. Any earlier acknowledgements or confirmations are not considered acceptance.

2.3 If we cannot accept your order (e.g. due to stock limitations or pricing errors), we’ll let you know and refund you in full.

2.4 You are responsible for ensuring that your order details are accurate.

3. Product Information

3.1 We make every effort to present accurate product descriptions, images, and specifications, but actual items may vary slightly. Images are for illustrative purposes only.

3.2 Sizes, weights, capacities, and colours are approximate.

3.3 We may correct pricing or description errors before dispatch. If so, your order may be cancelled and fully refunded.

3.4 Promotional or discounted items are only available while stocks last. Once sold out, we cannot supply those products at the same price.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT (where applicable) at the prevailing UK rate.

4.2 Payment is accepted via major credit/debit cards or PayPal. We do not accept cash, cheque, or bank transfers via the website.

4.3 Orders placed from outside the UK must pass 3-D Secure authentication. If authentication fails, we cannot process your order.

4.4 All payments are subject to card issuer validation and fraud checks. You authorise us to carry out these checks when placing your order.

4.5 If your card payment is unsuccessful or delayed, we may retry processing it without notice. We are not responsible for any related bank fees.

4.6 Where applicable, customs fees, import duties, or taxes on international orders are the responsibility of the recipient.

4.7 If you're ordering on behalf of someone in another country, please ensure they are aware of potential customs charges.

5. Delivery

5.1 Delivery costs and options are shown at checkout and depend on the items and location.

5.2 We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our control (e.g. courier strikes, severe weather). If delays become excessive, you may cancel your order and receive a refund.

5.3 If no one is available to receive your parcel, it may be left with a neighbour or taken to a local depot. Additional delivery charges may apply if re-delivery is needed.

5.4 You own the product once we’ve received full payment and the product is delivered to you.

5.5 Products sent outside the UK may be subject to additional import fees. We have no control over these charges and cannot estimate them.

6. Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds

6.1 Right to Cancel

You have 14 days from receiving your order to notify us if you'd like to cancel or return. You then have 14 more days to return the product — 28 days total.

6.2 Eligibility

To qualify for a full refund, returns must:

• Be unused and in brand-new condition
• Include all original packaging and accessories
• Be free from damage, scratches, or visible signs of use

We recommend using protective coverings when handling the product (especially cables) to avoid damage. Do not apply tape or labels directly to the product packaging.

Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the product is faulty or not as described. We recommend using a tracked service.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount unless the item was faulty or incorrect.

6.3 Partial Refunds

Returned items will be inspected. If signs of use, dirt, or damage are found, a partial refund may be issued. You may be charged a cleaning or repair fee, typically £25 for damaged housings or connectors.

We may request photos before a return is made to help assess the return in advance.

Final refund amounts are at our discretion based on the returned condition.

6.4 Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item:

• We will cover the cost of return and issue a replacement, repair, or full refund where appropriate

7. Warranty

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987
