For many driveway charging setups, yes. A 10 metre EV charging cable provides substantially more flexibility than the common 5m length without moving up to a 15m or 20m cable.

It's particularly useful where your wallbox is offset from the parking position, mounted on the opposite side of the vehicle, or where you need to route the cable around the front or rear of the car.

A 10m cable can also make life easier if different vehicles use the same charger and their charging ports are in different positions.

Measure the actual route from the charge point to the vehicle rather than the straight-line distance, and allow enough cable so it reaches comfortably without being pulled tight.

If 7.5m comfortably reaches your normal charging position, the shorter cable will naturally be slightly easier to handle and store.
