⚙️ Setting Charging Current and Start Time – Manual or App Control

This portable charger supports two control modes:

1. Manual interface control using the onboard touch panel

2. App-based control via the EVbee Home app for iOS and Android

Once the charger is connected to the app and a scheduled charging time is set, app control will take precedence. To return to manual operation, simply select "Instant Charging" within the app settings.

🔘 Manual Control via Charger Interface

Set the Charging Current:

• Touch and hold the current indicator area on the control unit for 3 seconds until the current value begins to flash

• Tap repeatedly to cycle through available current levels (6A to 10A)

• Wait 3 seconds to confirm and lock in your selection

Set a Delay Timer (Optional):

• Tap the delay button on the unit

• Each tap adds 1 hour of delay (up to 12 hours maximum)

• Wait 3 seconds to confirm the delay time

⚠️ If no delay is set, charging will begin automatically after the current is locked in.

📱 App Control via EVbee Home App

• Use the app to schedule a specific charging start time

• Monitor real-time charging stats, temperature, and session progress

• To disable the schedule and return to manual charging, select “Instant Charging” in the app

Once app control is active, settings on the device will be overridden until "Instant Charging" is selected.

To enable app-controlled features, please ensure the following requirements are met:

📱 Smartphone Compatibility

• A compatible iOS or Android smartphone is required

• Bluetooth must be enabled to pair with the charger

• Ensure sufficient free storage space to install the EVbee Home app from the Apple App Store or Google Play

• A valid Apple ID (iOS) or Google account (Android) is required to download the app

• Bluetooth is used for setup and control—no Wi-Fi or mobile data is needed during normal use

• Once paired, the app lets you schedule a charging start time, adjust settings, and view live charging data

• If the charger is controlled via the app, it will override any manual settings made through the touch panel

• This charger can be used entirely without the app—manual controls allow you to set the current and a start delay (up to 12 hours) directly on the device

• When connected via the app, it will take control of the charging session
