Shipping Policy | Fast UK Delivery on EV Cables

At EV-Cables, we’re committed to delivering your order quickly, reliably, and securely. Below is all the info you need about our delivery process, carriers, estimated timelines, and international shipping terms.

UK Deliveries

Free Delivery on UK mainland orders over £100.
Orders under £100 will have delivery charges calculated automatically at checkout.

Deliveries are made Monday to Saturday, between 8am and 8pm (excluding UK public holidays).

Royal Mail Tracked 48 for parcels up to 2kg
DHL or FedEx 24-hour service for parcels over 2kg

Please note that Highlands, Islands, and remote areas may take 48–72 hours and incur a surcharge, which will be reflected at checkout.

Important – Checkout & Country Selection

To ensure postage charges are calculated correctly, please make sure the correct country is selected at checkout—particularly for bordering islands such as:

Isle of Man (select Isle of Man as the country)
Jersey (select Jersey)
Guernsey (select Guernsey)

Selecting the correct country ensures accurate delivery pricing and avoids delays in processing your order.

Why Are There Surcharges?

Due to rising carrier costs and fuel surcharges, our delivery partners now apply additional fees to certain outlying areas. While we’ve worked hard to absorb as much of this as possible, a portion of these charges must be passed on to customers in the affected regions, including:

Northern Ireland
Highlands & Islands
Isle of Man
Jersey & Guernsey
Isle of Scilly
Isle of Wight

We understand this may be frustrating, but it allows us to continue offering a reliable, trackable service while keeping our product prices as competitive as possible across the board.

European Union Deliveries

We offer fast and reliable shipping across the EU using FedEx Economy or equivalent regional couriers.

Estimated delivery time: 2–5 working days (excluding customs clearance delays).
All parcels are tracked, and you’ll receive updates as soon as your order is dispatched.

No Minimum Order Value
We do not have a minimum order value for EU deliveries.

However, please note that we operate under a Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) system. This means:

Orders are shipped VAT-free from the UK.
Local VAT, import duties, and handling fees are not included in your order total and must be paid by you to your local customs authority before or at the time of delivery.
These charges vary by country, and we recommend checking with your local customs office for guidance before placing your order.

Rest of World Deliveries

We ship internationally using FedEx International Economy, known for its global reliability.

Estimated delivery: 3–5 working days, excluding customs processing.
All local taxes, duties, and customs fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Any delays due to customs clearance or unpaid fees are not the responsibility of EV-Cables.

Customs, Duties & Local Taxes

Please be aware of the following for all non-UK deliveries:

Local taxes (such as VAT or sales tax) and customs duties may apply depending on your country.
These charges are not included in your EV-Cables order and are payable to your local customs or tax authority.
We cannot estimate these costs and advise you to check with your local customs office before ordering.

Any delay in payment of duties or taxes may increase delivery time, and is beyond the control of EV-Cables.
