Returns Policy
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase from EV-Cables. If something’s not quite right, we’re here to help — with a hassle-free returns process.
This page explains how to return or exchange an item, what qualifies for a return, and how we handle refunds. Our aim is to make the process simple, fair, and quick — just like it should be.
Returns & Exchanges – Up to 28 Days
If you've changed your mind, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to let us know you’d like to return or exchange an item. After that, you have an additional 14 days to send it back — giving you up to 28 days in total to complete the return.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be in unused, clean condition, just like when you received it
- All original packaging, parts, and accessories must be included
- There should be no scratches, damage, or wear, especially on plugs or casing surfaces
If you're unsure whether the product is right for you, feel free to test it with care. To avoid any damage, ensure the item remains clean and free from marks or scratches — we recommend placing it on a soft or protective surface to prevent scuffing, especially around the plugs and casing. While the product is built for durability, visible wear, dirt, or damage may affect your eligibility for a full refund.
Starting a Return
- Email [email protected] to let us know you’d like to return an item.
- Once approved, we’ll send you the return instructions and return address.
- Securely pack the item and return it using a tracked and insured service.
Please don’t send anything back without contacting us first, as unauthorised returns may not be accepted.
Return Costs & Packaging
- If the item is unwanted or ordered in error, return postage is the customer’s responsibility
- For faulty or incorrect items, we’ll cover the return cost
- Please use protective packaging. If an item is returned with damaged or missing packaging, we may deduct a reboxing fee of up to £10
Used or Damaged Returns
We inspect all returned items. If we find signs of use or damage, we may still offer a partial refund, depending on the condition of the product.
To help prevent delays, we encourage customers to submit photos or video evidence of the item before sending it back. This allows us to assess the situation early and provide guidance.
Please note:
- The final refund amount is at our discretion, based on the condition of the item when returned
Exchanges
Need something different? The quickest option is to return the original item for a refund and place a new order separately. We'll process your refund once we’ve received and reviewed the original product.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or not what you expected, let us know within 30 days by emailing [email protected]. We’ll cover return costs and arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as needed.
Items We Can’t Accept for Return
We can’t accept returns for the following unless faulty:
- Custom-built or personalised items
- Items with signs of water damage, corrosion, or misuse
- Returns sent without approval or without a return reference
- Products that have clearly been used or are missing original packaging
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll let you know if your refund has been approved. If everything is in order, we’ll process your refund to your original payment method within 10 working days.
Please note:
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund, unless the item is faulty or incorrect
- Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider

EU Orders – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
For deliveries within the European Union, you're entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period. If you change your mind, you can cancel or return your order within 14 days, as long as the item is:
- Unused and in original condition
- Returned with all packaging and proof of purchase
- Return postage is your responsibility, and must be sent using a tracked service
